Our Work in Guatemala
We recently launched a pilot project to deepen our mission of supporting children's education in some of the most remote and underserved regions of the world. In Guatemala, our work begins in the community of Río Negro, nestled along the Chixoy River in the highlands of Alta Verapaz.
This region, rich in culture and resilience, faces immense educational challenges—and we’re honored to walk alongside local families as we begin building pathways to learning and opportunity.
Our Goals in Guatemala
Our goals at Dear Future are threefold and deeply rooted in our commitment to children's education and well-being:
01
Caring for Children's Education
Our primary objective is to nurture and support children's education by providing essential school materials, creating a conducive learning environment, and offering the care and guidance they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
02
Inclusivity and Impact
We are dedicated to expanding our reach to serve a broader spectrum of children, ensuring that our programs are inclusive and accessible to all who need them. By doing so, we aim to better the lives of many, irrespective of their background or circumstances, and make a profound impact on their futures.
03
Program Growth
Our pilot project in Guatemala relies heavily on its ability to grow independently while staying aligned with the mission and vision of Dear Future. Our goal is to fully support and empower this program to ensure its long-term success.
