Helping Girls Stay in School - Here’s What You Made Possible

This March, something important happened.

At Empathy Community High School, 88 girls received reusable hygienic pads, a simple but life-changing step toward ensuring they no longer miss school because of something as natural as their menstrual cycle.

For many girls, the lack of access to menstrual products means missing days of school every month, falling behind, and sometimes dropping out altogether.

With these pads, that barrier is removed. But this work goes beyond providing supplies. Each distribution was paired with menstrual health education, where students learned about body changes, hygiene practices, and how to properly use reusable AFRIpads. These sessions also opened space for very important conversations about preventing early marriage, early pregnancy, and supporting healthy development.

This is what dignity looks like. This is what opportunity looks like.

And it’s only the beginning. Thanks to your support, we are already prepared to reach 225 more girls in another school with the same program, expanding access, knowledge, and confidence.

Still, there is more to do.

Nearly 700 more girls are waiting for this same opportunity this year, and we are working to raise approximately $3,500 to make it happen.

Because every girl deserves to stay in school. Every girl deserves dignity. Every girl deserves a future.

If you’d like to be part of this next step, we invite you to support this work and help us reach every girl who needs it.
