Protecting the Environment

Environment is the place Surrounding us where we live. The environment is our home. It gives us air to breathe, water to drink land where we dig and grow Crops and get food to eat.

In our country people destroy environment through bad activities such as cutting down trees, burning rubbish and throwing plastic materials every place.

I want to see all people protecting the environment by planting trees because trees provide shade and they protect the soil from washing away of top soil. If people continue cutting down trees the country will suffer famine because there will be little rainfall.

Some people throw rubbish in swamps and water and this stops water from running which cause floods in many places in Uganda. Many people and animals die and crops destroyed.

I want to see all schools teaching children to protect the environment. children learn to plant trees and they will teach parents at home.
