I want to see a change in the way people treat dogs. Dogs are animals that live with people and can become good friends with us. They also need food, water, shelter and care.
I have always seen people mistreating dogs in Wakiso, especially around Najjemba. Sometimes people chase them away, beat them or leave them without proper care. When I see this, I feel sorry for the dogs because they cannot speak for themselves.
I believe that dogs should be treated with kindness. People who keep dogs should make sure that they have enough food and clean water. They should also provide a safe place for them to stay. If a dog is injured or sick, people should help it.
I also think children can help make a difference. We can learn not to hurt animals or throw stones at them. We can tell other people that animals deserve care too. Schools can also teach children about being responsible and kind to animals.
The change I want to see is a community where people do not mistreat animals, especially dogs. I want to see people caring for them and understanding that animals are part of our environment.
If everyone showed a little more kindness, Najjemba and Wakiso would become better places for both people and animals.
Thank you.
