When the topic of art is brought up in our societies, the first image that comes to most people's minds is often an artist sitting in a studio, creating drawings. This superficial image represents a serious issue that concerns me deeply. Our society has started to see art in a very limited way. Many people do not realize that drawing and painting are only a small part of art. Instead, this image has become the way people understand the word "artist" and what being an artist means.
But in reality, art is a way of expressing feelings and thoughts that our simple words and limited vocabulary cannot describe. Art is not just about creating something; it's a way for people to leave a mark and express something that words cannot. The most important truth about this topic is that art is one of the main foundations of human awareness. When we fail to understand its true value, we lose one of the deepest ways to communicate and express ourselves.
Art is one of the few ways that can truly show our feelings and inner struggles, and we can see this clearly in many paintings. When I went through a stage in my life where I understood the true meaning of art, my view of the world changed. I became sure that art helps us understand ourselves first and then share what we feel with the world. This is something that no other way can offer us. I started to believe that one of the reasons we are still able to keep going in life is art.
My dream for the future is to see a society that truly understands that losing art is not just losing paintings or music, but losing an important part of human memory and identity. If we look at ancient civilizations, we can see that sculptures, temples, and palaces are what helped us learn about their history and understand the identity of people in the past. This is exactly what art does. If ancient civilizations had depended only on writing, we would have lost the spirit of their history. We would have become societies without memories or culture. That is why I hope for a future where we can keep our identity through art.
To make this change happen and build the society I dream of, we need to understand that real progress is not only about buildings, technology, and development. It is also about growing in our thinking and understanding the value of art and its ability to make the impossible possible. So, how can we create this change? Art has the power to create change, and I believe that the young people of the future can carry this message. They can change the common idea about art and give it the space it deserves. When young people realize the value of art and use it to make the impossible possible, we can build a better society that leads change while protecting its cultural roots.
