Dear Jocelyne,
How’s the courtroom? I hope it’s not too cold in there! I’m still in school, learning hard, because I want to become a lawyer. I want to help people who are treated badly.
Did you ever win your first case? I dream of you standing tall, saying, “Objection!” and making sure justice wins.
Please never take bribes. Don’t lie. Be a lawyer who tells the truth, even when it’s hard. People need someone like you.
When you finish work, go home and read your Bible like we do now. Be strong, brave, and helpful. I’m cheering for you from the past!
Yours truly,
The little Jocelyne.
