I am a twelve-year-old girl from Shalom Junior School. I and my family are citizens of Uganda. I live in Uganda because it is my homeland. My family thought about educating me to succeed. I also agreed with their thought. Really, I have a dream. I want to be a dentist.
A dentist treats people’s teeth. People in Uganda are staying with their teeth because of having very few dentists. I want to save people through becoming a dentist. Some people educate their children to become doctors, teachers, pilots, farmers, etc., but me and my family think none of the other jobs and other works accept being a dentist. It will be helpful to the country, though some people think that educating a dentist is just wastage of time.
Myself and my family see it as a job and work. I shall succeed in life. I know to save people’s lives because we use teeth to clean our food. We use teeth to fight enemies. That is why we should preserve our teeth. I also like being a dentist because dentists are smart. Dentists are available; you can see a dentist at any time you want. I also like being a dentist because dentists have machines which ease work, but a teacher can talk from morning to evening without resting.
I like being a dentist because dentists do not waste monotonic power. I also like being a dentist because dentists earn a lot of money. Mentally, they are better than farmers because farmers earn money occasionally, and even farmers may fail to get good yields and make losses due to bad weather conditions.
I like being a dentist because a dentist does not make an announcement of his or her job compared to market vendors. Market vendors waste a lot of time shouting in the community. I like being a dentist because it is faster. Dentists work on many people per day, while farmers dig one hectare for a month, whereby some of them are poor to pay for tractors and they find it hard to maintain their work.
I like to see people in society happy with their teeth. By God’s grace, I shall become a dentist.
