A Letter to My Future Self

To dear future,

As Makitto Immaculate, I want to be a pilot. One reason is that I want to help people transport their bulky and perishable goods faster so that they may not delay on the way and get rotten because they are delicate and perishable. I also want to transport people to other countries of interest, enjoyment and adventure, so that they go to important places like state houses of other countries. I want to transport important people like doctors, nurses, mechanics and soldiers, who are important to other countries. People like doctors are needed because a person may be suffering from lung cancer. When doctors are the ones to save him or her, it becomes right to transport a doctor for effective work. Somebody’s life will be saved. Even though I like air transport because it is faster than other means of transport, with God everything is possible.

I want my parents to pay my school fees and study higher in order to be a pilot. I also want to transport my parents to interesting places and let them go abroad for adventure to countries which my parents have never gone, like China, America and other countries.

As a pilot I know I will be earning much money compared with doctors, nurses and drivers because they get less money than pilots. As a pilot in future, I will be different from others because I know my work is special and I know God is with me. I shall complete my studies and be trained for what I want to be in future. Some people think that studying is simple, but on my side it is difficult. But if you trust God, everything is possible because I know education is the key to success. Education is very important because it may lead to good job opportunities which earn more money than other jobs like brick making, fetching water in the village, stealing other people’s property and, without education, children grow knowing stealing, murdering, abusing one another and other crimes.

I even pray to God to complete my studies. I will be happy if my dream is fulfilled. By God’s grace, I know I will make it.

Makitto Immaculate among the best pilots in the world.
