Estimados amigos de Dear Future:
Yo me llamo Oliver Matías Domínguez Santiago. Mis padres se llaman Ciro Domínguez y mi madre se llama Segundina Mauro Santiago Hidalgo. Tengo tres hermanos mayores.

Dear friends at Dear Future,
My name is Oliver Matías Domínguez Santiago. My parents are Ciro Domínguez and Segundina Mauro Santiago Hidalgo. I have three older siblings. We all live in the village of Llincag, in the district of Chaulán and province of Huánuco.
My father grows potatoes, oca, olluco, chocho, broad beans, corn, and other crops. My mother looks after our sheep, cows, horse, and donkey. My village has beautiful places and a large lagoon where trout live. Its scenery is beautiful. Our patron-saint festival takes place every August from the 28th through the 31st. During the four-day celebration there is a fireworks castle and a “toro loco” at midnight. On the main day, the pallas perform their dance and an orchestra plays.
This year I am in sixth grade. Next year I will go to the city to continue secondary school. After finishing secondary school, I will attend an academy to prepare to become a police officer. I want to stop criminals and protect people so that there is no killing, the country is free, and people can live peacefully.
I want the world to be a place without crime, cruelty, violence, or kidnapping. People would walk through the city without fear, in a world filled with peace.
