I am Margret Nantubwe, a Muganda by tribe. I live at Kasozi village, not far away from my school. I always go to school very early in the morning. My parents are not rich enough to pay my school fees, but by God’s mercy I’m studying. But that cannot stop me from being or becoming one of the most important people in my country.
I’m planning for my future and I always pray for my future because I know God is able to help me. I just want to become a netballer. I have many reasons why I want to become a netballer.
First of all, netballers earn enough money which can help them. That money can be used for paying basic needs at home. Even some children who are ballers study for free in some schools because they are very good at netball. Others have improved on their skills and now they are professional netballers because they obey their trainers. Many people are famous because of netball and end up earning a lot of money, and that is one of my dreams. To become a netballer, this will make my mum happy since she was also a netballer.
I have to make it by all, and I will never lose hope. At my old age I want to be a professor in netball. Let me play harder netball. And let me pray to God so that I can complete my studies faster and I will be a trainer of netball.
Never lose hope.
