Dear future me,
Let me hope that you are fine. Back to me, I am also fine.
It is quite a long time without hearing from each other. How far have you gone with all your plans?
I have written this letter after thinking about you last night. I humbly write this letter to ask you whether you fulfilled your things you promised to do during your young stage. You said that you will be a good citizen in your country. You said that you will be hardworking so that you become a great person. How many times have you boarded an aeroplane? You remember you said that you will become a great international trader who will transport goods from Uganda to another country and from other countries to Uganda, and now you will be able to earn money and start many businesses to give jobs to people of Uganda.
Angel, you said that you will become a doctor and help the people, especially the needy. Did you achieve your dream?
I would like to remind you that you promised to help those orphans who are on the road begging.
Even you promised that in your country there will be no any person on the road begging because you will provide for them jobs if they are old and education to children. Do you?
You promised that you will buy a plot and build a good house for your mother. Let me think that you achieved that.
When you were young, you promised to start up secondary and primary schools for free to orphans and poor people, and when it has good standard, did you?
By the way, Angel, you promised to fight against corruption. Do you?
Do you still remember that you were a God-fearing child? Let me hope that right now you are still.
Please, Angel, my advice and encouragement to you is that you should stay true to yourself and believe in your abilities also. Keep pushing forward and never give up on your dreams. I know one day you can achieve greatness.
Yours truly,
Makibuule Angel
